Utemis is opening with a fire sale talking to the team it seems to revolve around the delay due to a Chinese corporation wanting to buy Utemis and had requested a delay in the ICO launch. Although negotiations seem to still be on-going the ICO is now pushing ahead on the 8th of January and supported with a 40% discount from the 8th to the 11th. Which won’t be extended and even if Utemis does receive a buy out option as a token holder you will benefit (It is already written into the whitepaper).

So why is there such interest in Utemis from a large Chinese company? It comes down to the fact that they are looking to replicate the business model of Alibaba.com but for Latin America that faces many of the same problems that occurred in China. The problems relating to infrastructure, corruption, scams etc. which are not only difficult to deal with but if dealt with the growth potential over $200 million in a short time span. Realistically you would see the bad business enterprises finding it harder to do business due to an ESCROW and trust service built into Utemis. Along with the fact that those businesses that utilise the Utemis platform will not only find it easier to trade but growth potential is huge in the same way that Alibaba revolutionized trade in China. Because not everything is about overseas either as internally like any country businesses need to trade resources, parts, manufacture and general supplies. Utemis is not only global but able to offer the services within the Latin American nations which will help stimulate localised growth and reduce many of the problems companies currently face.

As an ICO it is one of those that is aiming to raise $50m to put all its infrastructure in place but its market growth will expand out as the business develops over the next few years and the projected turnover and growth will be similar to Alibaba.com making it a cheap investment as hitting the $200 million a year turnover will happen in a short period of time. As there is already a growing list of companies waiting for Utemis to go live wanting to sign up already. The interesting thing about this is that although it is an initial huge task to integrate all the businesses onto one platform the reality is the support and feedback from companies has been substantial as they can see the value in Utemis. Along with added stability that can give many businesses and people a long-term future by being able to trade anywhere within Latin America and the world literally at their fingertips via a keyboard and Utemis.

For these reasons I am heavily behind this ICO as I know the problems businesses face myself after 8 years in the Philippines ( A former Spanish county) and currently live in Spain where many of the problems still exist and Utemis may bring solutions even back from Latin America to its mother country for business in the future.
