Today see’s Binance experiencing some issues with a cluster server that has taking things out of sync. Obviously something you can’t have with live trading which is why its currently offline although did mention a short period of being able to withdraw. Myself I have a couple of thousand dollars of crypto on the exchange and not in a panic. I am expecting things to resume by tomorrow as currently they are talking about a window of around ten hours to fix the current sync fault.
These sort of things have to be expected with the massive growth that Binance has seen in recent times. As its constantly having to expand with demand which also runs its risk of having some minor failures. The most important part being is they didn’t lose any data its just going to take time to catch up on the information before they start allowing trading again.
Not an ideal time mind as Crypto has started moving again on the markets after experiencing a daily drop before the positive media out of the U.S. regarding how it will treat ICO’s and Crypto in the near future. Which injected some stimulation and positivity into the markets that has begun a more confident upward trend. I am sure there will be some unhappy day traders today who are missing out on catching tokens and coins on the rise with little risk of loss. At the same time I am glad that there hasn’t been any major data loss which could risk people’s investments currently on the Binance Crypto exchange.
What do you think? could they have protected themselves against this issue?
